Kristina Krogh is one of those designers that expertly walks the line between design and art. Her use of geometric shapes, her obsession with form and light, and her deep understanding of composition translate into pieces that could sit comfortably in either a gallery or a chic living space. The Danish designer also experiments with texture, combining both cheap and expensive materials, often giving her work a very lush, almost extravagant finish.
The card set above, sold on her website, have that very luxurious feel to them. Their design was inspired by wrought-iron, Italian gates and balconies, the type you might see crowded with flowers somewhere along the Amalfi Coast. Printed with gold foil on heavyweight coloured luxury paper, it really doesn't matter how you use them, simply having them around is enough to add a touch of opulence to your surroundings.
